The story
A grieving woman magically travels through time to 1998, where she meets a man with an uncanny resemblance to her late love.
What it’s like
Warm, sun-faded 1990s Seoul, with the soft amber of late-afternoon light through school corridors, cramped apartments, and neighborhood streets, and a palette of dusty yellows, faded denim, and cool blue night. The camera stays close and unhurried, lingering on faces and small domestic gestures, and the score leans on wistful piano and nostalgic pop that swells at the right moments and otherwise recedes. The mood is bittersweet and tender, a gentle ache of longing rather than dread, with a slow-building emotional pull and plenty of quiet scenes that let feelings settle. Its people are rebuilding themselves around loss, a grieving woman slowly learning to live with a past she can't change, and a young man who is drawn into her sorrow without fully understanding it. The violence is minimal, and the tension stays emotional. Sexual content is limited to a few chaste romantic moments. It suits a rainy weekend, a comfort rewatch, or a late night when you want to feel something soft and sad. It is for viewers who love nostalgic romance, slow-burn longing, and stories where memory and time carry the emotional weight.
