The story
A shoe-smith Arun Sachdeva is shattered when he discovers that his daughter, Bhoomi has been raped by Dhauli and his gang of three. The father and daughter grieve for a bit before planning revenge.
What it’s like
Heavy, grief-soaked mainstream Hindi drama that moves from mourning into a vengeance plot, with the emotional weight carried by the bond between a hardworking father and his daughter. The mood is anguished and driven rather than quiet: long stretches of raw grief give way to planning and then to revenge set pieces, so the rhythm swings between stillness and escalation. The intensity is high and should be weighed before watching. It depicts a gang rape and the trauma that follows, with the assault shown or strongly implied, alongside physical injury and retaliatory violence that is meant to satisfy the story's demand for justice. It is not gentle, and it is not a comfort watch. Its emotional register is wrenching, with the father's protectiveness and the daughter's suffering at the center. It suits viewers who want a revenge story with a strong family core and a conventional action-drama shape, and who can handle sexual violence and brutality on screen. Those seeking something gentle, or wanting to avoid depictions of sexual assault, should look elsewhere.
