The story
A cybersecurity expert becomes a whistleblower after uncovering secrets about aliens, putting him on the run from a corporation. Meanwhile, a meteorologist experiencing strange phenomena joins forces with him to prove there's life beyond our understanding.
What it’s like
Paranoid, mysterious, and tightly wound, with the unease of someone who can't tell who is watching. Its settings are the grey canyons of New York City and the wide, open streets of Kansas City, where a meteorologist's sky-watching gives the story a natural pull toward storm light and vast horizons. Expect the look of a studio-backed sci-fi thriller: controlled, expensive-looking images, shadowy corporate rooms against bright exteriors, and a score likely built on tension and suspended silence rather than constant spectacle. The pacing is built around escape and suspicion, with the people's bond growing out of shared distrust and a slow, reluctant alliance between two outsiders. The emotional register runs from anxious to hushed, with flashes of childhood trauma adding a personal weight beneath the conspiracy. Its intensity is best read as thriller-level tension, with chase and confrontation and a sense of danger. It is not described here as gory, and it is not a gentle watch. It suits people who want a suspense-driven science fiction film for an evening with the lights off, and who enjoy conspiracy, uncertainty, and the feeling that the sky itself might be hiding something.
