The story

Tommy, a volatile 19-year-old, revels in drugs, parties and violence. After getting separated from his friends on a drunken bender, he is abducted by a shadowy figure. He wakes to find himself imprisoned in the basement of a remote Yorkshire house, inhabited by a very strange family. But what unfolds is not what he could possibly expect.

What it’s like

Tense, claustrophobic thriller energy with a harsh, unsettled edge, built around captivity in a remote Yorkshire house. The feel is paranoid and confrontational, with a dark unease that lingers rather than release. Its emotional register is complicated and uncomfortable: family dynamics sour into something toxic, and the story asks you to hold uneasy sympathy for a volatile young man. Expect intense scenes of abduction, imprisonment and violence, with drug and party chaos in its opening stretch. It suits viewers who want a grim, mystery-driven drama with psychological strain, not a gentle or comforting watch, and who are comfortable with a dark, morally knotted story about family, control and survival.
