The story

A new school term begins, as does the season of new encounters. As he surveys his class full of couples, Hashiba Jun'ichi's mind is filled with distress as he asks himself, "Why am I still a virgin?!" Having heard from his friends that the easiest way to fulfill his long-standing desire to graduate from the fellowship of virgins is to kowtow to a gal, Jun'ichi does exactly that and asks his classmate Yukana out. And unbelievably, she actually agrees to date him. What will become of Jun'ichi from now on?

What it’s like

Bright cel-shaded animation with saturated spring colors: sunlit classrooms, pastel uniforms, clear blue afternoons, and exaggerated bounce whenever a character panics or blushes. The soundtrack is light pop and cheerful rock with quick comic stings, and the voice acting leans into big, theatrical reactions. Episodes move briskly through short gags, awkward crushes, and running jokes about who is dating whom. Beneath the teasing, the register is warm and goofy, following a nervous, sheltered boy and a confident, teasing girl as their first-romance bluster slowly gives way to real affection. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, background viewing while doing chores, or a light comfort rewatch. Intensity: no violence or gore, but frequent ecchi fanservice, suggestive camera angles, crude jokes about virginity and sex, and skin-baring moments played for laughs. Best for viewers who want a silly, flirtatious high-school romcom with an upbeat feel and no real danger or heavy drama.
