The story
A couple, who were in a long distance relationship for 3 years, face the prospect of getting married.
What it’s like
Bright, flat daylight in cramped Mumbai apartments, with a handheld, conversational camera that stays close to its two leads in kitchens, corridors and shared bedrooms. The look is plain and warm rather than polished: everyday clutter, cheap fans turning overhead, and a palette of soft yellows and washed browns. Sound is light and pop-leaning, with cheerful background music that drops out for quick, awkward silences between the characters. The mood is breezy, affectionate and quietly anxious, a sitcom that treats domestic friction and the fear of settling down as small, relatable frictions rather than crises. Episodes move briskly, with rapid back-and-forth dialogue and frequent gentle tangents into family meddling and office life. Its arc follows two people who have loved each other from a distance discovering how hard it is to share a single space, and how much they still like each other when they do. Intensity is very low: no violence, no gore, mild romantic and sexual suggestion, and a few tense arguments that resolve with warmth. Well suited to a comfortable evening binge, background viewing while cooking, or anyone wanting a light, funny, romance-tinged show that feels like a hangout with friends.
