The story
The Singh family comprises of Shamsher his step-son Sikandar, twins Suraj and Sanjana. They run a business of illegal arms and trade with the help of their friend Yash. Things get dramatic when Jessica meets Sikandar and the family ties are strained under each character’s ulterior motives.
What it’s like
Glossy digital sheen, saturated sunlight and night-club neon, with sleek yachts, villas and mountain roads filmed in wide, bright frames. The camera favours fast cuts, sweeping drone shots and swooping car chases, and the score is loud and pop-driven, with big choreographed song sequences breaking up the tension. The vibe is flashy, bombastic and self-assured, best suited to a loud Friday night or a light, indulgent watch with friends. Its pacing is brisk and its tone shifts between playful romance, family melodrama and slick crime, with the central characters' loyalties and rivalries shifting as the stakes rise. Intensity is moderate: gunfights and car crashes are frequent but stylised and largely bloodless, with some menace and a few tense confrontations, and romance stays suggestive rather than explicit. Fans of commercial Hindi action spectacle, glamorous set pieces and ensemble family drama will find the most to enjoy, while anyone seeking quiet, gentle viewing should look elsewhere.
