The story

During the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi leads an assault on the planet Muunilinst, home of the Intergalactic Banking Clan; and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, is appointed by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to lead the Republic’s space forces. Meanwhile, Separatist leader and Sith Lord Count Dooku takes in Force-sensitive gladiator Asajj Ventress as his Sith apprentice, and tasks her with eliminating Skywalker.

What it’s like

Hand-drawn 2D animation with crisp inked outlines, flat saturated color and bold silhouettes, like a comic page brought to motion: blue-white starfighter engines flaring against black space, sunset-orange deserts and smoky urban canyons rendered in graphic blocks. Camera moves are quick and sweeping, with dynamic cuts, slow motion held on a single lightsaber arc, and pointed stillness before a duel. The score is brassy and percussive, a brisk orchestral pulse that swells into rallying drums, with clanging blades and blaster whines filling the gaps. Episodes run only minutes each, so the rhythm is punchy, a string of skirmishes and tense standoffs that resolve fast, with a steady undercurrent of war-weariness and loyalty beneath the spectacle. Violence is frequent but stylized: lightsaber duels, droid destruction, troopers falling in battle, with little visible gore and no sexual content. Suits a Saturday-morning mood, a quick episode while cooking or a restless evening, and anyone who wants clean, kinetic space-opera action with real feeling under the armor.
