The story
A public toilet caretaker's poverty-stricken life takes a drastic U-turn when he helps an old woman. How long will fate smile upon him?
What it’s like
Its mood sits between an earnest social drama and a fable with a supernatural tilt, a combination that suits a weekend evening on a streaming app. The setting is the grit of an ordinary urban neighbourhood, where money is tight and every small stroke of luck feels heavy, and the storytelling leans on that contrast between hardship and sudden good fortune. The emotional register is warm and wry rather than bleak, with humour used to soften the struggle. Its central figure, a poor man who works cleaning public toilets, moves through a run of unexpected changes, and the tension comes from wondering how long his fortunes will hold. Expect a mix of comedy and sincerity, with some dramatic stakes and a fantasy edge that drives the plot forward. It is a fit for viewers who want a light but emotionally engaged watch with a feel-good, underdog-centred arc, and it suits people who enjoy Indian streaming originals that blend everyday realism with a touch of the uncanny.
