The story

Fresh off an almost career-ending accident, stuntman Colt Seavers has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job.

What it’s like

Saturated, sun-struck Sydney light sits over bright studio backlots, golden-hour desert vistas and sleek night-city glass, with a glossy digital sheen that makes every neon sign and set-piece explosion pop. The camera moves with real energy, rolling along with stunt choreography in long, legible takes and whipping through crowded streets, so the chaos stays readable. The score leans on bouncy synth-pop and classic-rock needle drops, and the soundtrack keeps the mood upbeat even when things blow up. Vibe: breezy, self-aware, sun-drenched fun. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a rewatch with friends, or a light night in when you want big spectacle without much weight. Violence is frequent and cartoonishly kinetic: car crashes, fistfights, falls and fireballs, with plenty of bloodless stunt-gag humour and only occasional real sting. Romance is warm and playful, with some mild innuendo and no explicit content. Pacing is quick and bouncy, and the ending stingers reward staying through the credits. Its ideal audience is people who want an energetic, funny action film with a big heart and a love of movie-making in the background.
