The story

Radhe is a hardcore gangster. A sharpshooter with a sharp brain, he works for Gani Bhai, the dreaded Mafioso, but on his own terms. Totally fearless, Radhe single handedly eliminates Gani Bhai's enemies one by one; making more enemies than he bargained for.

What it’s like

Saturated Bollywood colour and slick, glossy digital polish: Mumbai rendered as sodium-lit streets, sweaty nightclub reds, and crisp, high-contrast gunfights staged with a lot of swagger. The camera is restless in the action sequences, swinging through crowded chawls and alleys, while the songs turn the city into bright, choreographed spectacle with big dance numbers, flashing lights and loud, pounding bass. Between set pieces the pace eases into banter and sly, teasing comedy, and the score leans on synth-heavy beats and dramatic orchestral stings. Tone is boisterous and cheerful rather than grim, a loud, larger-than-life gang-war entertainer with a lot of showy bravado and light romance. Violence is frequent and stylised: shootouts, punches and chases with plenty of gunfire, but little blood and no lingering cruelty. It suits a loud weekend night, a group watch, or a fan of mass-market masala cinema who wants action with fun, flirtatious energy.
