The story
A struggling musician realizes he's the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles after waking up in an alternate reality where the group was forgotten.
What it’s like
Bright, sunny English streets and warm daylight give way to crowded festival fields and intimate pub stages, with a clean, cheerful digital finish that never feels gritty. Camera work stays easygoing: medium shots and close two-handers in ordinary rooms, with the big concert numbers opening up into wide, sweeping views of crowds under open sky. Sound is the main event, with familiar pop and rock songs sung live and carried by a bouncy, sentimental score. The vibe is feel-good and wistful, the kind of light romantic comedy you can drift into on a lazy weekend or put on for a comfort rewatch. Pacing is brisk and playful, with a gentle moral question running underneath the laughs, and the emotional arc follows a struggling songwriter learning what he is willing to give up for love and for recognition. Violence is absent, sexual content is minimal and off-screen, and the mild peril is limited to small social awkwardness. Suited to viewers who want warmth, singalong music and a low-stakes, hopeful story that stays upbeat throughout.
