The story
A story that follows Mi Ka, a new resident at the hospital who meets special ops agent Xing Kelei during an emergency rescue training organized by the SWAT team.
What it’s like
Set around a hospital and a special-operations rescue unit, this drama leans on the crisp, procedural feel of training grounds, emergency wards and rubble-strewn drills, with the tension of an earthquake-themed storyline underneath. Its vibe is earnest and romantic, a first-love story played against urgent, high-stakes work. The pace likely alternates between quiet, awkward moments of attraction and bursts of rescue urgency, and the emotional register is warm and sincere, built on a young doctor and an agent slowly drawing closer through shared pressure. Expect peril and emergency situations rather than explicit gore, with romance and camaraderie carrying most of the weight. It suits viewers who want a romantic drama with a professional, action-adjacent backdrop, and it will appeal most to people who enjoy medical and rescue storylines alongside a gentle, slow-building courtship.
