The story

The Central Bureau of Investigation deputes two officers to investigate the disappearance of three medical students, which they believe to be an incident of 'honour killing' in a small, closed community.

What it’s like

Dusty, sun-bleached village roads under flat midday glare, with shadowed interiors and a muted, earthy palette that keeps the heat visible. The camera stays close and restless during interrogations, then pulls back to wide, empty fields that make the isolation of the community feel total. Sound is sparse: wind across dry ground, the hum of a government jeep, long stretches of silence broken by sharp, unsettling bursts. The vibe is grim and tense, a slow-building investigation with a heavy, sun-scorched unease. It suits a late evening when you want something serious and absorbing, not a comfort watch. Its arcs follow two officers who are pulled into a community's hidden rules and are forced to confront what they find. Intensity is high: brutal violence, including a killing shown without softening, and a persistent sense of cruelty and dread, though the gore is not excessive. It is for viewers who want a hard-edged crime drama with social weight and moral friction.
