The story
Anime Music Quiz is a quiz game about anime music! Inspired by the popular “guess the opening/ending song” quizzes that are all about matching a set of anime songs to their anime, Anime Music Quiz takes these quizzes one step further! Thanks to the ever-expanding community-driven song database, an unlimited amount of unique quizzes can be generated. Furthermore you can add your MyAnimeList account to have your quizzes personalized by the anime you’ve watched, while still throwing in new and fresh anime for you to discover!
What it’s like
Bright, cheerful menus and a playful costume-collecting layer give it the feel of a casual anime fan's corner of the internet, where the soundtrack is the real scenery: a steady stream of opening and ending themes from every era and genre, from bouncy idol pop to sweeping orchestral rock. The vibe is light, social and nostalgic, with the warm buzz of recognizing a half-forgotten theme in the first two seconds. It suits a weeknight with friends, a lazy solo session with headphones, or background play while tidying up, with rounds that stay short and unhurried. Emotional stakes stay low; the tension is just the small thrill of guessing right. Costume themes such as maid, ninja, magical girl, detective and scientist add whimsy to the presentation, and personalizing questions from a watch list keeps familiar favourites in the mix. There is no violence, gore or frightening content, and nothing sexual beyond the stylized anime costuming. It is for anime fans, music lovers and trivia players who want a gentle, sociable way to test their memory of shows they have loved, or to discover new ones along the way.
