The story
Kim Hye-in has to transfer to Cheongdam International High School after witnessing a murder. She crosses paths with Baek Je-na, a bully who happens to be connected to the case.
What it’s like
Glossy, cool-toned Seoul school drama, with wealthy interiors, polished corridors and sleek modern campus architecture shot in clean daylight and rain-slick evening streets. The palette leans steel grey and cream, broken by bright uniform reds and the hard white of fluorescent classrooms, and the camera stays close and restless in tense scenes before settling into easy, well-lit calm. The score is synth-tinged and pulsing when suspense builds, and loosens into soft piano during the quieter romantic beats. Vibe: sleek, prickly, slowly unsettling, the kind of thing to watch in a binge over several evenings. Pacing is brisk, with episodes that end on hooks and a steady drip of reveals. Emotionally it sits between cold social cruelty and tender, awkward attraction, following a newcomer who must navigate a rigid hierarchy while keeping a secret. Intensity is moderate: bullying, verbal humiliation and a death that drives the story, with some physical confrontation but no graphic gore and little explicit content. Suited to viewers who enjoy teen mystery with class tension and a pointed edge, and less suited to anyone seeking something gentle or low-stakes.
