The story

When Dev finds about his wife's affair, he starts blackmailing her and her lover but the blackmail game backfires on him.

What it’s like

Bright, flat domestic interiors and crisp daylight give way to cramped, dim rooms and sweaty nighttime streets, with a restless handheld camera that stays close to its anxious characters as they scheme. The palette leans on warm ochres and beige apartments, punctuated by the cool glow of phone screens and the shadowy corners of seedy back offices. The score is bouncy and playful, using jaunty strings and quick percussion to underline each new twist, while dialogue carries most of the energy. Pacing is brisk and escalating, a comic thriller that keeps tightening its knots. Its tone is wry and farcical with a sly undercurrent of unease, and its emotional register stays mostly light even as the stakes climb. The central arc follows a wronged husband whose petty revenge spirals out of his control, and the affair and cheating are treated with comic irony rather than heavy drama. Violence is minimal and mostly off-screen, with a few tense confrontations and no gore. It suits a lively evening with friends or a playful watch for anyone who enjoys sharp, morally tangled comedy with thriller turns.
