The story

The series tells the story of Oh Ha-rin, who travels to the past through mysterious photos left by her first love, Ji Seo-jun. Since they were eight years old, they had been close friends, but he died by suicide on her birthday ten years ago.

What it’s like

Soft, wistful romance with a mystery undercurrent, the mood of a rainy afternoon spent thinking about someone you lost. The look is likely to lean on school-corridor daylight, muted everyday interiors, and the quiet pull of photographs as objects, since they drive the story's time-slip engine. Expect a melancholy-warm vibe: a little bittersweet, a little uncanny, with the romance growing out of a childhood friendship that never quite got said aloud. The pacing suits a comfort-with-an-ache watch, perhaps an episode or two at night with the lights low. The emotional arc follows a young woman trying to reshape a loss she could not prevent, moving from grief toward an uneasy hope. The central event is a suicide in the backstory, handled as emotional premise and grief rather than as graphic detail, though it is heavy material. Violence is minimal and fear is mostly low-key suspense. Best for viewers who like time-travel romance, teen-era nostalgia, and sad-tender stories, and who are comfortable with grief and suicide as a theme.
