The story
When a small town gets plunged into the nightmare of serial killings, rookie cop Arjan embarks on a chase for the truth and unravels a gruesome conspiracy.
What it’s like
Dusty small-town streets under hard afternoon sun give way to dim, sodium-lit nights, with the frame often tight on faces and close quarters rather than sweeping vistas. The look is polished commercial digital, with saturated colour in the markets and cool blue shadows in the police station and after dark. The score leans on pulsing electronic percussion and sudden stingers that punctuate quieter scenes of procedure and unease. Vibe: tense, grimy, pulpy and fast, a late-evening watch when you want momentum over subtlety. The pacing is brisk, with investigative set pieces and escalating confrontations, and the emotional register stays driven and intense rather than reflective. The central arc follows a young officer hardening under pressure, tracking a predator while the town's trust and his own certainty erode. Violence is a real presence: the killings are shown with gruesome detail and there are several brutal fight and chase sequences, though little that lingers in a lingering or wallowing way. It suits viewers who want a suspenseful, commercial Hindi thriller with a strong lead and a clear sense of danger, not a gentle or slow-burn experience.
