The story

The story is about three Davids living in different parts of India whose lives eventually come together in a twist of events, and who are about to take a step that is going to change their lives forever.

What it’s like

Saturated, rain-slicked city light alternates with sun-bleached coastal daylight and the cooler blues of the hills, so each thread feels like its own small world before the three lives begin to lean toward each other. Pacing shifts with the register: unhurried, music-led stretches of longing sit beside sharp, abrupt bursts of gunfire and street-level menace. The score carries much of the emotion, with songs and swelling strings doing as much work as the dialogue, and the mood moves from wistful to tense to tender. Its people are drawn toward love and toward trouble, and their arcs trace the pull between a quiet dream and the crime that keeps intruding on it. Violence is present and occasionally sudden, with shootings and fights that land hard but stay short; it is not gory, and the romance is warm rather than explicit. It suits a late evening with the lights low, or an unhurried weekend when you want something stylish, musical and dramatic. It is for viewers who enjoy genre crossover, flashy visuals and a melodramatic heart, and who don't mind a bit of brutality along the way.
