The story

A battle to save the Earth from the Saiyans rages with Piccolo, Gohan, Kuririn, Tenshinhan and Chaozu loosing the battle. Goku is on the way to help, but is his power greater than Saiyan commmander Vegeta's?

What it’s like

Bold ink linework and dense screentone give the pages a crisp, high-contrast look, with big action panels that burst across the spread and quieter frames of worried faces and clenched fists. The sound lives in the onomatopoeia: shouts, impacts, and ki blasts rendered as large lettering that seems to vibrate off the page. Battle sequences run fast and loud, one blow after another, while brief pauses let the tension settle before the next surge. The vibe is energetic and earnest, a comic-book adrenaline rush with a sense of stakes that feel high but never bleak. Violence is constant and cartoonish: characters are battered, bloodied in stylized ways, and sent flying, yet the tone stays exuberant rather than grisly. It suits a lively afternoon, a comfort reread for longtime fans, or a stretch of reading when you want momentum over quiet. It is best for people who enjoy shonen martial-arts spectacle, friendly rivalries, and the thrill of a power-up moment, and it is less suited to anyone seeking gentleness or a slow, reflective pace.
