The story
A man, the heir to an empire, believes that marriage will ruin a man's life. Unfortunately, the only way for him to inherit his father's wealth, is to get married.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated studio colour and sunlit Indian interiors, with the warm glow of wedding-season decor: marigold garlands, brass lamps, pastel silks and glossy cars on wide, sun-drenched streets. The camera stays busy and playful, with quick cuts, zooms into comic reactions and big musical numbers that burst into choreographed crowds. The score is lush and bouncy, built on orchestral Bollywood pop, so the whole thing hums along rather than sitting quiet. The vibe is light, cheerful and mischievous, a feel-good romantic comedy that suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or a family movie night. Its arc follows a hard-living playboy reluctantly softening toward a bride-to-be, with broad slapstick and warm family chaos carrying the emotional beats. Intensity is very low: some mild fisticuffs and comic scuffles, no gore, nothing frightening, and romance kept chaste and playful. It suits people who want big-hearted, sing-along escapism with gentle laughs and a happy ending.
