The story

When Chase decides to write a college report on a case of mass hysteria that occurred in his old home town of Echo, he uses the opportunity to get his group of childhood friends back together for the week. However, a tragedy from their past weighs heavily on their minds, and the desolate desert town finds itself on the brink of disaster once more in this atmospheric slow-burn visual novel.

What it’s like

Sun-bleached desert light over a near-empty town, with dust-coloured daylight giving way to dim interiors and long, unhurried stretches of stillness. The mood is sparse and uneasy, closer to a quiet dread that builds than to jump scares. Its vibe is melancholy and unsettling, the kind of slow-burn tension suited to a late night alone or a long, quiet evening with the lights low. The pacing is deliberate, and the story follows a group of old friends reuniting under the weight of a shared past, with grief, guilt and fraying loyalty shaping how they treat each other. Expect psychological horror throughout, with intense material: violence, torture, drug use, and sexual content, all landing with real weight rather than as spectacle. Its characters include a gay protagonist and furry characters. It suits players who want atmosphere, mystery and emotional strain in equal measure, and not anyone looking for something gentle or low-stakes.
