The story

Figment 2: Creed Valley is an encore to Figment. Dusty and Piper have restored peace in The Mind, however, a new adversary is threatening its balance. Our two heroes must travel to Creed Valley, where The Mind’s beliefs and ideals are formed, to face their most menacing and theatrical foe so far.

What it’s like

Hand-drawn watercolour-soft environments unfold in bright, storybook colour, with ink-line characters that wobble gently at the edges, as if sketched in a child's notebook. Dusty and Piper's surreal mental landscapes shift between dreamy pastel meadows, cluttered bookish interiors and strange theatrical sets, lit with a warm, slightly stagey glow. The soundtrack is playful and orchestral, leaning on whimsical woodwinds, pizzicato strings and light percussion that swell into bouncy musical set-pieces when you solve a puzzle or enter a new area. Pacing is unhurried and exploratory, with rhythms of wandering, poking at things and chatting with quirky inhabitants, and the emotional register stays warm and humorous, with a gentle arc about friendship and self-belief rather than fear. Intensity is very low: there is no gore or real cruelty, and the mild peril is mostly silly boss encounters that end in laughter. Vibe: cheerful, whimsical, low-stakes charm, well suited to a relaxed afternoon, a comfort replay, or co-op play with a friend or family member. It is for people who want a funny, imaginative puzzle adventure that is kind, bright and easy to sink into.
