The story

Unraveling complexed relationships, closet issues, shocking truths, bizarre myths and unexplored space of men and women through a series of thrilling and exciting stories from the rural part of India. Each story is distinct from other but weaved with the thread of eccentricities which will leave you with unexpected twists and turns.

What it’s like

Episodic and provocative, this anthology moves through a sequence of self-contained stories set in rural India, each with its own cast and its own sudden turn. The feel is charged and secretive: hushed confessions, closeted desire, and small-town gossip that tips into crime and drama. Sexual content runs throughout and is central rather than incidental, with lesbian relationships among the threads, and the nudity and sex scenes are frank enough that this is not a background watch. There is little gentleness in the register. The stories lean on suspense and shock more than warmth, so the emotional arcs tend toward exposure, betrayal, and the consequences of hidden lives. Violence is present but secondary to the erotic and crime elements. It suits adults who want adult drama with twists and an edge of scandal, watched one story at a time rather than in one sitting, and it is a poor fit for anyone looking for something soft, cozy, or family-friendly.
