The story

The young, idealistic and brilliant Dr. Prabhat, takes charge of a neglected Primary Health Centre in a North India Village hoping to bring about much needed changes only to realise it is he who will have do change before anything else.

What it’s like

Wry, humane comedy-drama with a grounded, small-town feel, set in a rural North Indian health clinic where things run slowly and imperfectly. Its tone leans on gentle satire of bureaucracy and everyday inertia, with real warmth for the people who keep the place going and an undercurrent of earnest, sometimes melancholy drama about what idealism costs. The story follows an ambitious young doctor whose arc is less about fixing the system than about confronting his own assumptions, so the emotional rhythm is about slow self-recognition rather than big set pieces. Intensity appears low: its premise is about workplace friction and personal growth, not danger or cruelty. It suits viewers who enjoy character-driven comedy with a sincere heart, and those curious about contemporary Indian television that finds humour in ordinary, unglamorous settings.
