The story

A bonkers time-loop tragicomedy murder mystery thriller featuring multiple casualties and a suspicious cat, from the creator of To the Moon.

What it’s like

Pixel-art rooms in warm, flat colour, with a soft lo-fi hum underneath and the occasional sharp synth sting when something goes wrong. Scenes are staged like a stage play: a tight cluster of interiors, cramped corridors and odd industrial corners, lit in clean daylight that turns sinister whenever a body turns up. Movement is a slow point-and-click wander, so the pace is unhurried and reflective, broken by sudden quick-cut reveals and deadpan, absurd one-liners. The vibe is quirky melancholy with a dry sense of humour: a rainy-afternoon puzzle session, a playful mystery to pick up for an hour before bed, or a low-stakes comfort loop to lose yourself in. Violence is cartoonish and off-screen, with deaths played for laughs and grief kept light; there is little gore and no sexual content, though the mood can dip into unsettled dread. Its people are strangers slowly tangling into each other's secrets, and the emotional arc is about trust and the small, stubborn hope of finding a way out. It suits fans of puzzle adventures and clever, offbeat storytelling who want wit and mystery without grimness.
