The story

Kabir, a highly intelligent but short-tempered medical surgeon spirals into addiction after his intense relationship with his girlfriend turbulently ends.

What it’s like

Glossy, saturated commercial frames: warm amber interiors, cool fluorescent hospital corridors, and dim, smoke-hazed nights in bars and bedrooms, with close, restless camera work during arguments. The soundtrack leans on swelling romantic ballads and pounding pop cues that push feeling up front. The mood is volatile and melodramatic, a passionate, self-destructive spiral that swings between tenderness and rage and rarely settles. Pacing is long and indulgent, with emotional set-pieces stretched out. Intensity is high: frequent drinking and smoking, sustained shouting and volatile anger, brief physical fights, and intimate scenes with some sexual content. Its violence is confrontational rather than gory, and its emotional cruelty lands harder than its physical menace. It suits a late-night, feel-everything watch for viewers who enjoy big romantic melodrama and can handle a self-destructive protagonist. It is not gentle or low-stakes.
