The story

Avinash, a dejected soul stuck in a dead-end job shares a strange relationship with his father. He holds him responsible for crushing his dreams. However, he is left pondering upon this longstanding hatred when he hears of his father’s untimely demise.

What it’s like

Warm, unhurried road-trip comedy with a tender undercurrent: sunlit highways, dusty roadside stops, and the bright clutter of small-town India, shot in easy natural daylight with a handheld, companionable camera that stays close to its people. The score is light and melodic, with the rattle of a vehicle and ordinary street noise doing much of the work. The pace is loose and conversational, with long quiet stretches between jokes, and the mood moves from wry irritation toward grief and softness. It follows a resentful young man whose bitterness toward his father begins to crack once the old grudge meets loss, and the emotional arc is about reconsidering a long-held anger. Intensity is low: no graphic violence, little menace, and a sexual or romantic element that stays light. It suits a lazy weekend, a gentle comfort watch, or anyone who wants a humane, wistful journey with laughs, for viewers who like character-led stories about family, regret and slow reconciliation.
