The story

Ranjan, a small-town romantic boy from Banaras, lands a government job to marry Titli, but forgets to vow to Lord Shiva, causing him to be trapped in a time loop. A tale of love, fate, and redemption unfolds, as Ranjan tries to end the loop and get married.

What it’s like

Warm, saturated frames of a small-town north Indian city: sunlit ghats and crowded lanes, marigold and brass tones, lamplit evenings, and the bustle of a family wedding. The camera stays close and lively, with quick comic cuts and easy handheld movement, and the score leans on bright folk-tinged pop and playful percussion. The mood is light, cheerful and a little mischievous, a comfortable comedy with a romantic heart and a repeating-day premise that gets more absurd as it goes. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or a night in with company. The pace is brisk, the emotional register affectionate and self-deprecating, and the central arc follows a hopeful, bumbling young man learning to take responsibility for his own mistakes. The intensity is gentle: some crude jokes and mild romantic teasing, with no violence, gore or real threat. It is for viewers who want a funny, colourful romance that feels warm rather than stressful.
