The story

Viren and Aditi refuse an arranged marriage and that creates a rift between their families. But when their friendship turns into love, it leads to chaos!

What it’s like

Bright, sun-washed Delhi streets and crowded family rooms, with warm, saturated colour that tips into comic exaggeration during the wedding-season set pieces. The camera stays close and mobile through the youthful, chatty scenes, then settles into quieter framing when the two leads talk through their feelings on rooftops and in parked cars at dusk. Bollywood song sequences punctuate the story with bouncy pop and romantic ballads, and the soundtrack carries much of the emotional lift. The pacing is brisk and talky, with plenty of bickering and running gags that give way to a slower, more wistful middle stretch. The vibe is light, breezy romance with a tender, slightly bittersweet undercurrent, the kind of film that suits a lazy weekend afternoon or a comfort watch with friends. Intensity is very low: no violence, no gore, and only mild, non-explicit romance, with family tension playing out as teasing rather than cruelty. It is for viewers who want a funny, warm, music-filled love story about friends who fall into love despite themselves.
