What it’s like
Bright, airy Mumbai daylight and Goa's sun-washed beaches give this film a breezy, sunlit surface, with warm golden-hour evenings and crisp urban interiors that shift toward cooler, more reflective tones as the mood turns. Its camera moves easily through apartments, cafés and open-top jeeps, with lively group framing and playful cutaways that give the friendships a loose, affectionate energy. The soundtrack carries much of the emotional weight, with bright, melodic songs and soft piano and strings underscoring the quieter, wistful stretches. The vibe is warm, witty and wistful, a sweet-natured melancholy under a cheerful glow. Its pace is leisurely and digressive, happy to linger in conversation and in-jokes, and its people's arcs follow three young men learning, often clumsily, how to love, how to let go and how to grow up together. There is no real violence, sexual content is limited to kissing and romantic flirtation, and the sadness is gentle rather than harrowing. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch with friends, or an evening when you want romance with a soft ache and plenty of laughter.
