The story

Sonia and Rohit love each other but Rohit is mysteriously killed. When Sonia moves to New Zealand, she meets Raj, Rohit's lookalike who helps her trace Rohit's killer.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated Bollywood colour throughout: sun-washed Mumbai streets and glossy studio romance give way to the cooler, greener vistas of New Zealand, with wide landscape shots of mountains, lakes and open roads that feel open-hearted and a little dreamy. Camera work is expansive and musical, with swooping crane moves, tight close-ups on faces during confessions, and frequent cuts timed to the beat. The soundtrack carries much of the emotional weight, with lush, melodic romantic songs layered over sweeping strings and percussion that swell into more urgent, chase-driven cues during the action beats. Vibe: sweet, melodramatic, big-hearted, with a tender undercurrent of grief. It suits a cozy weekend watch, a shared night with friends who like to sing along, or a comfort rewatch when you want romance with some suspense. Pacing is brisk, with long musical interludes punctuating a steady plot. Its love story is central: a grieving woman slowly opening her heart again. Violence is present but limited, with a few tense fight scenes and a murder mystery's shadow; there is no gore, and the sexual content is kept chaste. For viewers who want big emotions, lovely songs and warm romance, with some drama and light action.
