The story

Jahnvi’s best friend Pooja attempts suicide when her boyfriend jilts her. Raj, a struggling singer, saves Pooja but she still goes into a coma and Raj gets stuck into caring for her. Upon recovery, Pooja falls for Raj, but he is in love with Jahnvi.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated studio color and sun-washed outdoor set pieces give this one a glossy, storybook surface, with bold wardrobe in reds, golds and pastels against warm interiors and a lot of lively, choreographed movement. Its sound is melodic and song-driven, so the emotional beats often arrive as full musical numbers rather than quiet silence. The mood swings between breezy romantic comedy and heightened melodrama, with a bittersweet undertow of longing and self-sacrifice. The pace is leisurely and digressive, with long, expressive stretches built around songs, family warmth and banter, and the story's darker turns are handled melodramatically rather than with grit. Intensity is moderate: a suicide attempt and a hospital coma sit in the background, shown without graphic detail, and there is no gore or on-screen violence beyond a brief scuffle. It suits a weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or an evening when you want big feelings and familiar romantic tension. It is for viewers who enjoy old-fashioned Hindi cinema, love-triangle yearning, and music-led sentiment.
