The story

Sulekha is in awe of her brother-in-law Raghavendra for his intelligence. Parimal, her husband, decides to take up the challenge of fooling Raghavendra and goes to work for him as a driver.

What it’s like

Warm, sunlit domestic rooms with bright daylight through open windows, medium shots that let the comic timing breathe, and a playful, melodic Hindi film score that keeps the mood buoyant. Set among middle-class households, a clever deception unfolds as a light, teasing mischief in a sun-filled, affectionate world. The vibe is cheerful and gently witty, the kind of easy comfort that suits a lazy weekend afternoon or a relaxed evening with company. The pacing is brisk but unhurried, with the humour arising from conversation, misunderstandings and the playful rivalry between characters rather than from farce or spectacle. Its emotional register is warm and charming, and the romantic thread between its leads grows through banter and small tender gestures. There is no real violence, gore or fear, and nothing sexually explicit; any tension is mild and quickly resolved. It suits viewers who want a gentle, good-humoured romance with a clever streak and a feel-good ending.
