The story
What if for one night your mobile phone was a public property? 7 friends at a wedding after-party decide to play a seemingly harmless but as it turns out, a dangerous game which might have earth-shattering consequences with relationships, marriages and identities being at stake.
What it’s like
Bright, glossy studio-lit interiors in the Hindi comedy style: a wedding after-party in a well-appointed Delhi-style house, warm lamp light, saturated colour, and a lot of bodies crowded into a single room so the camera drifts between faces. Framing stays mostly medium and two-shot, with quick cuts and snap zooms on phone screens lighting up faces in the dark. The score is upbeat pop-Bollywood, with bright horns, bouncy percussion and a pulse that spikes when a message lands. It's light and chatty for much of its running time, with a sitcom rhythm of escalating misunderstandings, then a slightly sharper turn toward strain in its couples. Vibe: breezy, mischievous, a little chaotic. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a laugh-out-loud group watch, or background company while tidying up. Intensity is low: no violence or gore, mild innuendo and some flirtation, and emotional stakes about trust and infidelity handled with a comic lightness rather than real cruelty. The arcs follow friends and spouses who discover how much they've been hiding from each other and try to patch things up. It is for people who want a funny, warm, ensemble comedy about modern relationships, with no real darkness.
