The story

A comedy or errors, wherein a married man attempts to juggle his three wives along with his current girlfriend.

What it’s like

Bright, glossy daylight fills the frame in this Hindi farce, with saturated colours in its apartments and sets and a polished digital sheen throughout. The camera moves briskly between rooms, and the editing favours quick cuts, doors slamming and characters bursting in at the wrong moment, while bouncy Bollywood songs punctuate the chaos. The vibe is breezy and unapologetically silly, the kind of thing for a lazy weekend afternoon, a laugh-out-loud night in, or something easy on in the background. The emotional register stays light: the central man's scrambling is played for slapstick, and the romantic threads are sweet and sunny rather than heavy. Intensity is low: mild physical comedy, flirtatious innuendo and kissing, no real violence, gore or cruelty, and nothing frightening. It suits people who want a cheerful, gently chaotic comedy with bright visuals and music, and who are happy to switch off and enjoy the mess.
