The story
Prem, a love guru who shares tips on dating women, helps his client, Bhaskar, woo his boss. Things get complicated when he falls for a single mother and tries to hide his profession.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated studio colour and busy frames: Bollywood comedy shot for maximum visual noise, with sunlit Mumbai interiors, glossy costume palettes, and wide, bustling compositions full of people mid-gesture. The mood is loud, warm and mischievous, a slapstick caper that plays like a sitcom scaled up to a big-screen musical. Songs punctuate the scenes with bouncy pop numbers and Hindi film score, and the sound design leans on comic timing, door slams, exaggerated reactions and rapid-fire dialogue. The rhythm is brisk and farcical, with set-piece misunderstandings that escalate until a tidy, sentimental resolution. Intensity is low: physical gags and mock-chases, a few punch-ups played for laughs, and no real violence, gore or dread. Romance stays chaste and playful. Good for a light, silly night in, or a comfort watch with friends. Suits people who want big-hearted, colourful slapstick romance and don't mind the broadness.
