The story
When an earnest matchmaker moves into an office next to a cynical divorce attorney, their bitter conflict is complicated by a growing attraction.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated daylight and crisp studio-set interiors give this Hindi romantic comedy a glossy, commercial sheen: pastel offices, sunlit flats, and a busy Mumbai street rendered in clean digital colour with plenty of medium two-shots and playful cuts between the leads' bickering reactions. The score leans on bouncy pop and light orchestral swells that lift each sparring exchange, and the rhythm is brisk, with physical slapstick and quick verbal jabs keeping the energy up. Its emotional register is warm and breezy, a cheerful sort of cozy: a prickly professional pair slowly softening toward each other while the comedy stays broad and affectionate. Intensity is very low: some mild family tension and comic shouting, no violence, no gore, and only chaste romantic moments. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a light comfort watch, or something easy to have on in the background. It is for viewers who want a sunny, big-hearted rom-com with rom-com chemistry and no heaviness.
