The story

Individually, bank employees Sanjay and Karina don't earn enough to be able to buy a home, so they decide to enter into a marriage of convenience.

What it’s like

Bright, lived-in Mumbai daylight fills cramped flats, crowded office lanes, and busy local streets, with warm, saturated colours that keep the frame cheerful even when the rooms are small and the money is tight. The soundtrack leans on upbeat Bollywood-style pop and sweet romantic songs, and the comedy is quick and chatty rather than slapstick. Its mood is light, warm and gently teasing, the kind of easy romcom that suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or something on in the background while cooking. Its pace is brisk, its emotional register open-hearted, and its central pair move from wary practicality toward affection with plenty of banter along the way. Intensity is low: there is no violence or gore, only mild suggestive jokes and a few kisses and romantic moments, with no real fear or cruelty. It suits viewers who want a bright, funny, romantic film with a hopeful ending and no darkness to sit through.
