The story
A vibrant, hopelessly romantic physiotherapist meets a handsome young Rajput prince who is the complete opposite of her – and is engaged to someone else.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated daylight and warm interiors dominate, with the look of a glossy mid-2010s Hindi romcom: sunlit havelis and marble courtyards in deep reds, ochres and turquoise, costume colours that pop against pastel walls. Camera work is bouncy and playful, with quick cuts, whip pans and set-piece musical numbers staged in lavish palace grounds and crowded city streets. The score is upbeat and orchestral, with bright vocal tracks and plenty of comic sound cues, so the film fills a room rather than hushing it. Its vibe is light, witty and sweetly frothy, with a touch of royal fairy-tale glamour. It suits a Saturday afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or an evening with friends when you want something cheerful. Pacing is brisk and the tone stays warm and comic, with romantic tension played for laughs and a gently satirical eye on wealth and tradition. The central pairing moves from mutual irritation toward reluctant affection. Intensity is very low: no violence or gore, and sexual content is limited to kissing and light flirtation. It is for people who want a bright, romantic comedy with music, colour and an easy heart.
