The story

The experiences of a group of young people interned at the Life Institute of Knowledge and Evolution (LIKE), a prestigious and cosmopolitan educational institution, with a supposedly modern and open educational system, but in reality it is deeply traditional and schematic.

What it’s like

Bright, polished institutional spaces with a glossy, slightly unreal sheen, the kind of set where a showy modern facade hides rigid routines, and a telenovela's heightened emotional pitch layered over teen-drama restlessness. Its vibe is earnest and melodramatic, with a sense of youthful rebellion against an expectation of conformity. It suits a binge-watch on a weeknight, or a comfort rewatch when you want big feelings and familiar genre pleasures without much effort. The pacing follows soap conventions: episodic, serialized, with cliffhangers and recurring confrontations between students and adults. Its people are young and often trapped, learning to question the systems that shape them, and the emotional register swings between tender and dramatic. Intensity is mostly emotional: conflict, heartbreak, peer pressure, and social pressure rather than graphic violence, though the teen social issues it tackles can feel heavy at times. It is for viewers who enjoy telenovela theatrics and coming-of-age stories about institutions that promise freedom and deliver control.
