The story

A team of Indian scientists at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) take on the extraordinary task of successfully sending a satellite into the orbit of planet Mars in a country's maiden attempt.

What it’s like

Bright, warm daylight spills through kitchen windows and across cluttered family rooms, while the control rooms are lit by cool fluorescent glow and banks of glowing monitors. Colour is saturated: saris in jewel tones, mustard and turquoise, against the pale greys of the laboratory. The camera stays close and mobile in the domestic scenes, lingering on everyday bustle, and the mood lifts with a bouncy, percussion-driven score and a few upbeat songs that turn the work of the office into something playful. Pacing is brisk and episodic, moving between technical setbacks, workplace banter and home life. The tone is hopeful and light-hearted, with humour and sentiment running side by side. The emotional arc follows a group of colleagues learning to trust one another under pressure, with a strong, self-assured woman at its centre. There is no graphic violence and no gore; the stakes are professional rather than physical, and the drama rests on disappointment, pride and determination. It suits a comfort watch, a lazy weekend, or a feel-good evening, and it is for viewers who want an uplifting, warm story of ambition and teamwork.
