The story

When his high school crush's eraser has another boy's name on it, a flustered student finds himself caught in a whirlwind of romantic misunderstandings and comedic chaos.

What it’s like

Bright, bouncy Japanese school-comedy look: sunlit classrooms, cheerful pastel-leaning color, quick cuts and reaction close-ups that lean into flustered faces and exaggerated mugging, with a light, poppy score carrying the scene changes. The vibe is sweet, giddy and warm, the kind of easy watch for a weeknight after a long day or a lazy weekend stretch with snacks nearby. Pacing is brisk and episodic, built around small misunderstandings that escalate into comic set pieces, but the emotional throughline stays soft: a shy, anxious boy slowly learning to trust his feelings and the friends around him, with first-love nerves and a few quieter moments of longing and jealousy that give the laughs some heart. Intensity is very low: no violence, no gore, no sexual content, and the fear and cruelty are minor, mostly awkward teasing and brief social pressure rather than anything that stings. Some storylines touch on prejudice and LGBT identity, handled with a gentle, affirming tone rather than heaviness. It suits viewers who want light romance, teen-friendly comedy, and warm friendships without darkness, especially fans of first-love stories who enjoy a bit of romantic chaos.
