The story

Start your engines and make your career as a world-class racing driver in one of the most established motorsport management games. Launched in 2012, My Racing Career has grown into a deep, competitive racing sim with a passionate community. From open-wheel racing to stock cars, motorbikes to rally — your path is yours to create. Begin in Formula 4 and work your way up to the big leagues like Formula 1, IndyCar, or Formula E. Or take a different route through touring cars, GT, prototypes, MotoGP, superbikes, or rally series. You control your future. Develop your driver and race strategy in a world where your decisions matter.

What it’s like

Clean, menu-driven screens in cool blues and greys, with race results and standings tables set against stylised garage and paddock imagery rather than photoreal action. The feel is that of a browser or phone game you check between sessions: short bursts of attention, numbers ticking over, a quiet hum of progress rather than spectacle. Sound is minimal, with engine notes and light UI chimes when a race or contract resolves. The pacing is slow and accumulative, built around weekly decisions, sponsor offers, training choices and the gradual climb through motorsport categories from junior open-wheel up toward top-tier series. Tone is focused and studious, with a steady ambition running through it and little emotional swell beyond the satisfaction of a result landing. Intensity is very low: no violence, gore, or sexual content, and the only tension is competitive, a rival's finishing position or a budget running short. It suits a comfortable lunch break, a commute, or a long evening of planning a driver's career with a cup of tea. It is for players who enjoy management systems, incremental progression, and tracking statistics over time, and who want motorsport detail without fast-paced action.
