The story
Come and join Shen Teng and his friends as they step away from the bustling crowded cities and reconnect with the beautiful wild nature.
What it’s like
Open skies, green and rugged landscapes, and the easy, unhurried feel of a group of friends getting out of the city and into the wild. The mood is light and sociable, with the comedy coming from the banter and small mishaps of travelling together rather than from any sharp edge. Episodes move at a relaxed, ambling pace, with time for the scenery and the company to breathe between the planned outings and the jokes. The energy is warm and low-key, closer to a travel companion than a competition, so it suits a lazy weekend, a stretch of background viewing while doing something with your hands, or a mood for the outdoors without leaving the sofa. Its emotional register is cheerful and affectionate, and the people it follows are mostly relaxing into one another's company, with no real stakes beyond getting the next leg of the trip done. Intensity is minimal: there is no violence, gore, or fear, and any danger is mild and played for laughs. It is a good fit for viewers who want gentle nature, friendly humour, and the feeling of being along for a pleasant trip.
