The story

Tyler is a young man who is desperately seeking direction from a world that seems to have abandoned him. Searching for answers he looks to his new friend Indrid who appears to have it all figured out.

What it’s like

Tense and unsettling, with a slow-building sense that something is wrong beneath an ordinary high school surface. The drama leans on manipulation and bullying, and the mood tightens as a young man's need for guidance draws him toward a charismatic new friend who seems to have every answer. Its emotional register is uneasy and psychological rather than action-driven: the pull is in watching a lonely, searching character become increasingly susceptible to influence, and in the question of who can be trusted. Murder sits within the story's crime and mystery threads, so expect dark themes and at least one violent death, with the tension resting more on dread and moral unease than on spectacle. Swearing is present throughout. It suits viewers who enjoy coming-of-age stories with a dark edge, character studies of manipulation and adolescent vulnerability, and mystery-driven dramas where the discomfort builds over time. It is not a gentle or cozy watch, and it is best approached by people comfortable with bullying, violence and morally troubling relationships on screen.
