The story
A rhythm game based on StepMania, In The Groove, and other games alike, that provides modding capabilities to charts, and features compatibility with most StepMania and In The Groove charts previously available, uses mods to allow for a different twist on charts, breaking the boundaries for what a playable chart can be.
What it’s like
Bright arrow graphics and quick, punchy feedback make this a rhythm game that feels like a neon arcade cabinet translated to the desktop. The soundscape is built around the beat itself: dance-pop and electronic tracks drive each chart, and the arrows snap to the pulse with crisp, clicky hit sounds that reward tight timing. Sessions move fast and bright, with a playful, slightly chaotic energy, and mods can warp the visuals and the chart layouts into odd new shapes, so an evening can shift from clean straight-ahead stepping to something stranger and more surprising. Intensity is low: no violence, no gore, no dread, just sweat-inducing physical exertion when played on a dance mat. It suits a loud, sociable party where friends take turns on the pad, a co-op night sharing one screen, or a solo session to chase a difficult chart. People who want to get their heart rate up, enjoy customising and tinkering with settings, and like music-driven play with a generous community of user-made content will find it especially welcoming.
