The story

Adorable young Akiko is thrilled to be reuniting with Akito, the handsome older brother she hasn’t seen in years! In fact, she might be a little too excited about living under the same roof with her precious big bro. This pint-sized cutie has a serious brother complex, and she’s definitely not interested in sharing his attention. Unfortunately for little sister, she and Akito won’t be living alone: three gorgeous girls from the student council will be along for the ride! So much for the peaceful existence Akito was craving. Big Brother the dreamy will have to stay on his toes to avoid the advances of Sis and her ravishing rivals!

What it’s like

Bright, saturated cel-style animation with sunny daytime palettes and bouncy comic timing, the kind of school-anime look that shifts into a cozy domestic setting once everyone shares one apartment. Its vibe is light, flirtatious and silly, a warm-hearted sitcom where jealousy and crushes play out as slapstick. Expect quick cuts, exaggerated reactions, and a steady stream of fanservice: suggestive framing, accidental-looking undressing, and touchy-feely tension that stays on the playful side. Violence is essentially absent; the only real conflict is romantic rivalry and sibling possessiveness, handled for laughs rather than menace. The forbidden-love premise is played for comedy, not heartache, so the emotional register stays breezy and the arcs are about a flustered, overwhelmed young man learning to juggle attention. Episodes move briskly and suit a lazy afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or background viewing while doing something else. It is best for viewers who enjoy harem comedy and ecchi humor, and who are fine with fanservice and romantic teasing that never goes further than suggestion.
