The story

Yu Ayase, son of a late legendary actress, is overwhelmingly mediocre. When he’s invited to stay with his mother’s friend, Yu is shocked to find out that he’ll be living with three prodigy sisters who possess both beauty and talent…and who rule his new school as the Three Emperors. Can Yu manage to melt the sisters’ cold hearts and fulfill his mother’s last wish for him to build a happy family?

What it’s like

Bright, saturated anime colors with warm, sunlit interiors, a sparkling house and school setting, and lots of exaggerated facial expressions that carry the gags. The score is light and bouncy, with comic stingers and sweet piano underneath the quieter moments. The vibe is upbeat and affectionate, a cheerful comedy with a soft undercurrent of loneliness and grief that never weighs the mood down. Episodes move briskly, built around escalating misunderstandings, awkward household routines, and small reversals in the bickering between the family members. It suits a relaxed evening, a lighthearted comfort watch, or something easy to put on while doing chores. The intensity is mild: no violence, no gore, just playful teasing and a little light fanservice. The emotional register stays warm, with a steady arc of an ordinary, earnest young man slowly becoming part of a household that initially keeps him at arm's length. It is for viewers who want a feel-good high school romcom with charming, bickering characters and a gentle, heartfelt payoff.
